Ever wonder why the awesome image you capture doesn't look as good on screen? There are many variables that can effect the quality of the image you view on screen the number one is the screen itself. Quite often good quality laptops have an ordinary screen Invest good money into a good quality IPS screen. Brands like Dell and NEC produce very high quality screen, However the benchmark in the best screens is EIZO.
Monitors display colors differently. Monitors don’t come color calibrated and their colors shift over time. You can’t depend on your eyes. You can’t trust your eyes to adjust your monitor correctly. Factors such as fatigue and time of day effect how your eyes see color.Image colors are not true to life. Often your photos don’t look right on your monitor– skin tones are off, whites aren’t pure, blues look cyan.Unnecessary editing time. If your monitor isn’t displaying your photo’s true colors, you will waste unnecessary time editing .Prints don’t match your monitor. With an un-calibrated monitor, the colors in your printed photos won’t match what you see on screen.

If we print images we want them to look like they did on our screen? Right. So we have profiled our screen but why don't our images print the same. A simple answer is that the screen relies on transmitted light and our print relies on reflected light. and if the light that we look at our image is not daylight corrected then we will see different colours. However due to the different papers and different inks there properties reflect light differently also....... and selecting the right profile from the standard "brand" profiles may not give the desired results. This is where print to paper profiling is essential. Some paper manufactures can supply profile which you apply at printing, others do not. If you are using non-genuine ink then the profiles will not work at all!
Jason will come to you and create profiles for your favorite papers. Priced at $150 for the first 3 papers then $30 per paper thereafter
